Jimmy Gonzales Baseball Academy

The Area Code Games are in their twenty second year. The games which are played in Long Beach , Ca. at Blair field are considered the biggest scouting event in the game. Players are chosen to compete by the professional scouts who run the clubs. There is no charge for the players and the event is sponsored by Nike. Over 300 college coaches and professional scouts attend this event which features infield and outfield every day, batting practice, sparq testing, and games. Nearly every first round high school pick in the last twenty years has participated in this event.
